The number 100,000 has mystical aspects for our culture (and probably all western culture). This holy number is usually observed and commemorated upon.

We have gone over 100,000 dead.

This demands our President go on all TV channels at 8 pm and announce this horrible figure, this horrible “milestone”. His speech must broadcast grief and sympathy. Yet, after the initial shot of grief, it must express hope and faith and the need for all of us to come together.

I recall “W” gave some damn fine speeches. I recall Obama gave some damn fine speeches as well as Clinton and Carter. If only we had a President who could take up the torch but we don’t.

We have Donald John Trump.

I can not believe him if he were to try expressing sympathy and hope. (I don’t think he feels these emotions).

I don’t think he can fake it.

We deserve better!

It looks like Trump is either delusional about the North Korean dictator or is playing politics with the public perception of the relations with North Korea.. I just hope Trump has aides with him; you just can not have a meeting with a blood enemy and not have impartial records of what is said!

Senior El Presidente Donald Jerk Trump is going to (gag) give his first (and last?) “State of the Union” speech tonight. I don’t give a fuck as I have no intention of watching this bombastic disgrace speak. I especially do not intend to listen to him! The Science Channel has “What on Earth?” at 8 pm and “How the Universe Works” (“Death of the Milky Way”) at 9 pm. I will record Cobert and watch it tomorrow. I don’t need the aggravation of Trump due to :

• Trump patting himself on the back,
• Trump claiming to have do soooo much and,
• Trump blaming any problems on the Democrats.

Will somebody please tell POTUS 45 that when you have a Republican President, and the Republicans own the House, Senate and Supreme Court, then how can the Republicans blame problems on the Democrats?
