Why did Trump sneak off to Walter Reed instead of going to the great hospital in the White House basement?

He is under a great deal of pressure and needs some sympathy from the trumpees. Letting the boys (and girls) know he was treated for something will do this. It could also take attention from those “rascals” in the House.
